The idea is the conceptualize the diplomanic gifts given by Japan to commodore Perry in the Kangawa treaty where Japan’s isolationism and feudal period ended. It is meant to conceptualize the culture of Japan in a single prop up until the end of the Edo period. Through this there are plenty of historically accurate paintings, artwork, furniture etc… scattered in the prop. All assets in this prop were written down in the exchange of gifts except one being an umbrella simply because of the difficulty integrating.
